Early and accurate diagnosis of Chlamydia is crucial for prompt therapeutics and prevention of complications. Through the creation of advanced IVD reagents/kits and compact diagnostic devices, we strive to tackle the intricacies of Chlamydia pathogenesis and diagnostic obstacles, revolutionizing the detection and therapies of this infectious condition.
Caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis, Chlamydia is a prevalent sexually transmitted infection (STI) recognized for its often asymptomatic presentation. This covert attribute frequently results in undetected and untreated infections, increasing the likelihood of complications like pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), infertility, and ectopic pregnancy. The infection can also affect various body parts beyond the genital region, including the eyes, throat, and anus.

Accurate and efficient diagnostic tools are urgently required for the prevention and management of Chlamydia, which is frequently asymptomatic but can lead to severe complications. Diagnostic biomarkers are crucial in identifying Chlamydia infection and providing insights into its presence and progression.
Bacterial DNA
Identifying Chlamydia trachomatis DNA in a sample is fundamental to confirming the presence of the pathogen. Techniques such as PCR and transcription-mediated amplification (TMA) are employed to amplify and detect unique fragments of bacterial DNA, allowing for precise identification of the bacterium.
Chlamydia Antigens
Chlamydia antigen detection is another important aspect of Chlamydia diagnostics. Major outer membrane protein (MOMP) and Chlamydial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) are crucial targets in antigen detection assays, enabling the swift diagnosis of Chlamydia infections.
In vitro diagnostic (IVD) kits offer a dependable, precise, and effective approach to diagnose Chlamydia. Through the utilization of specific biomarkers like bacterial DNA or antigens, these kits enable the swift identification of bacteria within a sample.
